IT’S OFFICIAL… once again, Lachie Neale is king of the AFL jungle, etching his name into the history books by becoming Brisbane’s first dual-Brownlow Medallist. Leading the club to yet another top-two finish despite being the opposition’s defensive target week in week out, Neale remains the premier midfielder in the Lions squad and has been instrumental in the Club’s incredible run of on-field success in recent years. It’s been nearly a century since Hall of Fame Legend Haydn Bunton won three Brownlows for the Fitzroy Lions – and it would be brave to think Lachie Neale won’t soon be matching him.
